How long have you been involved in the equestrian industry & how did you start out?
I have been riding since I was 4 or 5. I started riding at Pony Club and went from there.
What’s a piece of advice you’ve been given that really resonates with you?
There are lows then highs, but it’s the highs the push you through the lows to keep improving and kicking goals.
What do you love about Hinterland, do you have a favourite product and why?
My love of the hinterland gear is the quality of the leather and how long it last and still looks beautiful in the ring…I have bridles that are 10 years old and still going strong! My favourite product is the Legend Stud Guard as the fit is just perfect on the horses.
What are some things you look for when selecting tack for your horses? Why do you think it’s important to use good quality tack?
Most importantly I think I look for the fit/comfort, as a comfortable horse is a happy horse. I also look for durability, when you buy a good quality leather product you know it’s going to last -and look good in the ring too!
What are your goals for the future?
My future goals are to keep producing my young horses and hopefully I find more than one that can keep me jumping big tracks. To keep learning and improving my own skills and to keep my horses heading in the right direction. And to have fun!
